In brief: Conversion and change of use of the former "Königstädtischen – Dampf – Wasch – Anstalt"

Task / services:

design, graphics, plans in scale 1:200 and a rough cost estimate for an invited competition in which six architectural offices took part.

Project Description:

Restoration and conversion of the complex consisting of the classical, historical apartment building at the end of Cuvrystraße and the adjacent factory building on the Spree river bank.

Provided in the front building were: spacious old appeasements, the conversion of the industrial floors into loft apartments, new builded penthouses as new modern homes and the utilisation of basements.

The intended use is themed to the existing material and the unique location on the Spree River. In particular, this applies to the new spa with an outdoor pool and the design of the attached vertical bar as penthouse terrace houses, which make the location of the water very experienced.
